Radiance 2.1 - What's New?

Radiance 2.1 is now available to download for iOS. It provides bug fixes, and a few frequently requested new features. Here's whats new:

Liquid Glass

Radiance 2.1 introduces a new Liquid Glass interface. Users running iOS 26.0 or later will be able to navigate the app while interacting with the stunning animations and looks of Liquid Glass. This look is spread across the entire app, from the tab bar, to toolbar buttons.

Artist Profiles

Each artist now has a profile, showcasing all the collections that they have made. You can access this by tapping the artist's name under a wallpaper. In addition to collections, you can read a quick bio about the artists themselves, and learn how they contribute to Radiance. We added this feature so users can learn more about the artist who created the artwork that will live on their device.

Category Filters

We have added a selected group of categories that you can sort content by. At the top of the library tab, you will see options like abstract, photography, and Liquid Glass. When tapped, they present a sorted view of the library, so you can find what you need even faster.

Radiance Plus - Subscription

Radiance is free and always will be, but for those who want to support the app you can subscribe to Radiance Plus for $1.99 per month, or $19.99 per year. We can’t stress enough, this is just for people who want to support the app. Anything that was in Radiance before, will still be free. We are very grateful to those who decide to subscribe.

To give back to Plus users, we are giving subscribers access to some interesting experimental features. We have a lot of fun ideas that will take the form of experimental features, the first of which is Editorial.

Editorial

Editorial is an experimental create mode available for Radiance Plus subscribers. It puts a robust brush system at your control. First you add colors over an existing image to alter it's color and look, then choose a blend style to reach your final form.

As you can see, Radiance 2.1 is a big update! We hope you enjoy the new interface, new artist profiles, category filtering, and maybe decide to give back by subscribing to Radiance Plus.
